'I have found that amongst its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver'
- Maya Angelou

CCSJ supports several charities throughout the year.
Our main focus of charitable work is for 'Friends of CCSJ' a charitable arm of the schools PTA to support and provide equipment and provision for the school. The work here is entirely staffed and managed by volunteers and we couldn't be prouder of their contribution to the school. In the recent past this has paid for our amazing school Library (The Cow Sheds), fully staffed before and after school, musical instruments for children in KS2, playground equipment and tree and equipment for our forest school.

We support one charity close to the heart of a child / family / class or year group each year.
Children must choose one charity and justify why the school should support it.
Previously this has been:

Jeans 4 Genes: 2017/18
Nepalese Earthquake fund: 2018/19

In addition, we support Christian Aid through St James Church each year along with our group of parish schools.
Sports Relief / Red Nose Day and Children in Need each year too.
